The yearlong Fellowship includes: a seven-day leadership retreat focused on dynamic peer-to-peer learning; recognition at the Annual YouthActionNet® Global Awards Ceremony;networking with international and national aid agencies, NGOs, and corporate partners; and yearlong support, including access to virtual learning, personalized coaching, global advocacy platforms, and funding opportunities.
Past Fellows have been recognized for their outstanding leadership in launching a variety of projects, including: mobilizing more than two million young people to serve as peace builders in Kenya; empowering low-income, rural women to make and sell silk products in Cambodia; and using robotic technology to enable those with disabilities in France to express themselves creatively.
